You’ve finally made it to Birmingham. Welcome! New term, new place, new… everything! But what to see first? Treasure Hunt Birmingham is a great way to spend some time getting to know people in your new home. Whether you’re a fresher or a returning student, this adventure will give you a fresh perspective on your new home.
If your fresher days are behind you, don’t worry—this hunt is just as fun for returning students. Test your knowledge and challenge your mates as you uncover hidden gems around Birmingham. Our carefully crafted route skirts past the tourist traps and leads you to some of the best-kept secrets in town.
It’s designed for adults, so you’ll have a laugh together. Crews can be any size, although it might be more fun to split into smaller groups and see who can be the first to solve the final clue!
You’ll need to channel your inner pirate as you follow maps, solve cryptic clues, and scour the city for answers. Captain Bess, your bossy pirate leader, will guide you via messages sent directly to your phones. It’s like an escape room, but spread across the entire city!
Your adventure begins at the wonderfully gothic Birmingham School of Art.
You’ll easily find it on your maps app. And for an effortlessly planned day, you’ll find some more helpful info here.
Exploring a new city can be thirsty work, so we’ve made sure our route includes some great pubs and cafes. Whether you’re into craft beer or coffee, you’ll find plenty of spots to take a break and soak in the atmosphere of Birmingham. Pirate fancy dress is optional ☠️
“Good fun, we really enjoyed ourselves. Solving the clues was interesting and I think there's a good mix to suit all ages. A different and fun way to see the city, it included some nice stops.”
